A nostalgic, creamy soda shop treat elevated with smooth bourbon and rich vanilla. Easy, elegant, and endlessly customizable.
Ingredients

- 1.5 – 2 oz Bourbon
- 0.75 – 1 oz Vanilla Syrup
- 0.5 – 1 oz Heavy Cream or Half-and-Half
- 4 – 6 oz Club Soda or Seltzer, well-chilled
- Ice
- Optional: Whipped cream, maraschino cherry, orange twist, dash of bitters
Instructions
- Chill a highball glass and all liquid ingredients.
- Fill glass 3/4 full with ice.
- Pour in bourbon.
- Add vanilla syrup.
- Add heavy cream.
- Top slowly with club soda.
- Gently stir 2-3 times to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness, cream, or fizz.
- Garnish as desired and serve immediately.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use oat or coconut cream. Homemade vanilla syrup highly recommended.
