- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Fold in all chocolate chips and crushed peppermint.
- Drop tablespoon-sized dough balls 2 inches apart on sheets.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are golden. Cool for 5 minutes on sheet before transferring.
Notes
For best results, ensure butter is softened but not melted. Do not over-bake for a soft and chewy center.
