Description

A luxurious seafood lasagna with shrimp, scallops, and crab in a creamy cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb scallops, chopped
  • 1 cup crab meat (optional)
  • 912 lasagna noodles, boiled or no-boil
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 cups whole milk (or half-and-half)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 shallots, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp pepper (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley or thyme, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare seafood by thawing and chopping scallops.
  2. Make béchamel sauce with butter, flour, milk, and cheese.
  3. Cook lasagna noodles if not using no-boil.
  4. Layer noodles, seafood, ricotta, and sauce in a baking dish.
  5. Bake covered at 375°F for 30-35 minutes, then uncovered for 10 minutes.

Notes

Let lasagna rest before slicing for cleaner cuts.
