Tender chicken in a luxurious garlic-Parmesan cream sauce, ready in 30 minutes!

- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Salt/Pepper to taste
- 3 tsp Italian seasonings
- ⅓ cup flour
- 4 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 ½ cups chicken broth
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- ½ tsp mustard powder
- 3 tbsp butter
- 10 whole garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp flour
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Mix broth, bouillon, soy sauce, and spices in a measuring cup.
- Butterfly chicken, pound to ½-inch thickness, and dredge in flour-Parmesan mix.
- Sear chicken in olive oil for 4-5 mins per side. Set aside.
- Melt butter, caramelize garlic for 6-7 mins. Add flour and cook 1-2 mins.
- Whisk in broth mixture, then cream. Simmer until thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan, return chicken to skillet, and simmer 5 mins.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, simmer uncovered an extra 2-3 minutes.
